The University Of The Bahamas Men’s Soccer took revenge on The Renegades Football Club on the weekend in Bahamas Football Association action. The Mingoes took out the Renegades 5-1 Sunday at the Roscow A.L. Davies Field and earned retribution for a Renegades 1-0 win earlier in the season.

The UB Mingoes started off very slow against Inter-FC Sunday in Bahamas Football Accociation action. But once the Mingoes got started even the major down pour couldn’t stop them. Peter Julmis scored for the Mingoes in the 18th minute and then less than a minute later Stanley Grand Pierre connected to put The Mingoes up 2-0. To end the half Midfielder Ronaldo Green on an assist from Nathan Wells put The Mingoes up 3-0. The half ended In the middle of a downpour and after halftime, The Mingoes could not be stopped.  Grand Pierre, Green and Julmis scored again along with midfielder Nathan Wells connecting.  The Mingoes take the match 7-1.

The University of The Bahamas men’s soccer team came into the Bahamas Football Association match against The Western Warriors looking for a win and a shot to move up the standings. In a very defensive match, The Mingoes and Warriors had to settle for a 1-1 tie Sunday at The Roscow A.L. Davies Field. Peter Julmis scored the lone goal for The Mingoes. The Mingoes now have eight points in league play for fourth spot over four matches (2-0-2 win-loss-draw) and The Warriors have 10 points over four matches (3-0-1). The IM Bears lead the league with 13 points over five matches (4-0-1). Renegades sit in third spot with nine points over three matches.

MIRAMA, FLORIDA: The University of The Bahama men’s soccer team completed its two-match tour in South Florida undefeated after beating United International College 3-1 Saturday at The Miramar Regional Park. It was the first time a Mingoe team completed a tour with only wins. Midfielder Ronaldo Green turned in another hat trick for The Mingoes—his second in international play—to give the team the 3-1 win.
