Mingoes see scoreless draw against Inter Nassau

The University of the Bahamas men's soccer team returned to action in the Bahamas Men's Soccer League and finished with a 0-0 draw against Inter Nassau F.C. Sunday at the Roscow A.L. Davies Soccer Fields.

UB came off two victories against the visiting California Intercontinental University Falcons late last week. Alex Thompson, head coach said his side was still recovering.

"I don't think that we've emotionally recovered from the two games we've played mid-week," Thompson said. "We lost a bit of steam but we had some clear-cut chances, we lacked some cutting edge but we just didn't put the ball in the back of the net."

UB was in a tough battle with Inter Nassau where they had several chances but was unable to put those chances away.

Clredjivensky Clerjuste had one of the best chances of scoring for UB in the 78th minute but the goalkeeper made the save.

UB had some late creativeness but Inter Nassau thwarted those chances as the game ended with the scoreless draw.

This was their third straight draw for UB in the 2026 calendar year but they are second in the league with 21 points with a game to spare. They sport a 6-0-3 win/loss/draw record.

They return to action at 4.45 p.m. against Future Stars F.C. on Sunday, February 22 at the Roscow A.L. Davies Soccer Fields.
