Mingoes shut out Cavalier 11-0
Kevin Thomas picked up a hat-trick to help his University of The Bahamas Mingoes men's soccer team take down Cavalier F.C. 11-0 in Bahamas Men's Soccer League (BMSL) play.
It was UB's third straight victory on the young season and third straight game scoring multiple times. UB scored four goals in the first half and seven in the second half.
Thomas got the scoring underway for UB in the eighth minute then he netted two more in the 37th and 60th minute. Ronaldo Green scored two quick goals in the 88th and 89th minute. Also scoring for UB were Dylan McPhee (33'), Ahmaad Smith (44'), Darvio Smith (47') Keno Thomas (53'), Junior Kelly (77'); and Nahum Johnson (83').
UB will now prepare for a rivalry match against Dynamos F.C Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Roscow A.L Davies Soccer Fields.
