Mingoes women competes at Roadrunners meet

The University of The Bahamas Mingoes women's track and field team competed in its final local track and field meet at the 19th Dianna Lynn Track and Field Classic hosted by the Roadrunners Track and Field Club Saturday at the Thomas A. Robinson Track and Field Stadium.  

Davia Musgrove leapt 10.57 meters (m) (34 8-1/4) in the under-20 triple jump. Musgrove was eighth place in the under-20 girls long jump after posting 5.05m (16-6 3/4).

Kendera Munroe powered her way to a first-place finish in the open women 200m after stopping the clock on 26.84 seconds. Nancy Joseph was second in 27.37 seconds. Joseph was the only competitor in the open women 100m in a time of 12.98 seconds.

Kaiya Cambridge was the only competitor in the open women 100m hurdles in a time of 15.97 seconds despite stumbling on one of the hurdles.

Marquell Newbold and Malynte Clarke were in action in the under-20 girls 200m. Newbold was fifth in her heat and sixth overall in a time of 26.24 seconds. Clarke ran 26.64 seconds for sixth place in her heat and ninth overall.

Michal Bullard and Katranel Dean were in action in the under-20 girls 400m. Bullard ran 1:01.74 to place third in her heat and eighth overall. Dean was first in her heat in 1:03.86 to finish 10th overall.

The women open 4x400m relay saw Bullard, Newbold, Dean and Clarke finishing second place in 4:06.01.
