Six Mingoes selected for national team friendlies
Six members of the University of The Bahamas men's soccer team were selected to represent the Bahamas Men's National Soccer Team in their upcoming friendly matches on Wednesday, March 26 and Sunday, March 29.
Selected to the team are brothers - forward Nahum Johnson and defender Joshua Johnson; defender Junior Kelly; midfielder Lamond Cross; defender Jamario Charles; and winger Keno Thomas.
Charles and Thomas are making their debut. UB's assistant coach, Andre Roberts is an assistant coach for Team Bahamas.
Team Bahamas will play two matches in the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) Friendly Series at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands. They will take on Anguilla at 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 and host nation at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 29.
