DORAL, Florida: The University of The Bahamas Men's soccer team was unable to secure the win against Millenia Atlantic University on Thursday and lost 2-1 at Doral Meadow Park, Doral, Florida. 

Captain Ronaldo Green responded to the opening score from MAU (14') with a brilliant short-range shot in the 43rd minute. That goal tied the match at 1-1 to end the half.

MAU scored in the 55th minute to go ahead 2-1. The Mingoes -- despite a total of seven shots in the match -- could not respond with another equalizer. 

The match ended 2-1. 

The side is scheduled to play Albizu University 10 a.m. Saturday in Ives Estates Park in Miami.
