Mingoes bounce back to defeat Renegade FC 3-0
The University of The Bahamas Mingoes men's soccer side defeated Renegades FC 3-0 in Bahamas Football Association action.
It was a very physical match between the two sides.
The first half almost scoreless with strong play from UB's keeper Antonio Beckford. Mingoes midfield Ronaldo Green scored the first goal of the match off a penalty in the third minute.
Into the half Mingoes led 1-0.
Coming out of the half Mingoes forward Joshua Johnson picked up his first goal of the season in the 56th minute off a brilliant corner from Nathan Wells.
And then with about 10 minutes to go scoring sensation Green connected again after some fancy footwork. His goal in the 80th minute pretty much sealed the win for the Mingoes as they took the match 3-0.
