Kevaro Russell scored 30 points to lead the University of The Bahamas Mingoes to a 104-86 win over Crimestoppers Tuesday at the Kendal Isaacs Gym.

The Mingoes' offense was also led by Terrance Higgs who scored 25 points. John McKenzie and Shameco Albury rounded out the scoring with 22 and 16 points respectively.

"On defense, I feel like we could have done better as a team," said Russell. "Luckily, tonight, I was making some open shots. We're looking to carry this energy into Thursday night and try to get better and better after every game. Keep the winning streak that we have going and end the season with a bang."

Shameco Albury added; "I feel like I contributed good on defense bringing effort and intensity... My mindset is to be at the right place at the right time and read off my teammates."

The Mingoes maintained high scoring throughout the game, utilizing their in-game strategies to pull away from the Crimestoppers in the second half. The win extends the team's current streak to three as they head into the final stretch of the season.
