Mingoes lock up BDOCS 92-81
The University of The Bahamas Men's Basketball defeated Bahamas Department of Corrections 92-81 at The Kendall Isaacs Gymnasium in UB Showcase action Thursday.
Kevaro Russell led the Mingoes with 30 points, Jerehemiah Miller had a double-double with 10 rebounds and 29 points, Terrance Higgs had 18 points and three blocks.
Forward Jerehemiah Miller said the team chemistry was good and the coached allowed them to go out and play hard.
"My main focus was just to rebound the ball because I noticed the other team had a lot of tall players," Miller said. "We would like to carry over defense, and talking on the court."
Rashad Woodside for BDOCS had 22 points and 11 rebounds, Hayword Seymour following up with 12 points and five rebounds.
Mingoes play Nassau Flight Services 7pm, November 4th at Kendal Isaacs Gym.
